ADSS Trading Platform
Overview
ADSS (ADS Securities), one of the Middle East’s leading leveraged brokers, set out to replace a legacy white-label trading solution with a fully proprietary retail trading platform. As Product Designer, I led the design of a scalable, cross-asset experience across web and mobile—built to support rapid growth while balancing accessibility for new traders with depth for more experienced users.

I designed a high-performance retail trading platform focused on clarity, speed, and trust in high-pressure environments. The experience was crafted to feel intuitive for first-time users while offering advanced workflows for semi-professional traders. The platform delivers consistent behaviour across devices, enabling users to seamlessly monitor markets, place trades, and manage portfolios anytime, anywhere.
Challenges
The primary challenge was designing for vastly different user profiles within a single product—novice traders and advanced users—without fragmenting the experience. The platform also had to scale across web and mobile, support personalised permissions and workflows, and remain clear and usable during periods of high volatility and heavy trading activity.
Solution
I applied a system-led, user-centred design approach, grounding decisions in competitor analysis, user needs, and performance constraints. A robust design system ensured consistency and scalability across complex trading workflows. Close collaboration with engineering enabled designs to align with real-time data, low-latency interactions, and automated testing—resulting in a resilient, intuitive platform delivered on an accelerated timeline.
